A primary objective of this board is to obtain information. Therefore, we are trying to keep it as organized as possible. When you post, make sure you are posting under an appropriate forum or topic. If your topic already exists, continue posting under that thread. Don’t start a new topic for the sake of starting a new topic.

If possible, please give us a source or reference for your information (person, website, book). It greatly aids people who want more information on the topic.

Please remember that the quality of your posts reflects the overall quality of this message board. You may not like what someone says, but think before you post instead of reacting to the post.

1. Do not advertise pornographic or other material that is not suitable for minors.

2. Do not advertise "Warez", "Moviez" or any similar illegal material.

3. Do not post large blocks/entire text of scripture or copyrighted materials. Quotes are fine in moderation or as explanation. Links are preferable to long blocks of text.

4. Do not post things that do not contribute to discussion. If you don't have anything to say in a thread or don't know the answer to a question, please do not post that you don't have anything to say or do not know the answer the question. Posts such as "I agree", "OK", "Me too" are also considered inappropriate posts. You are not required to reply to every single thread in a forum. Please only reply if you have something useful to add to the thread.

5. Do not post URLs that are not relevant and/or the only reason for posting seems to be to advertise the site or product. Offering products for sale or trade is also not allowed.

6. Do not double post. If you want to add something to a message you have just posted, please use the "Edit" button under your post to edit your post rather than posting a new reply.

6. For Anime: Do not ask where -insert name here- anime can be downloaded. Refer to the Downloading Anime guide. Also, do not advertise fansubs or downloads of licensed anime.

On a forum devoted to such a diversity of beliefs, there are bound to be disagreements. However, before you flame someone, please ask yourself, is it really necessary? Flames ultimately detract from one of the main purposes of the message board – to create an open environment where everyone is free to voice their opinions and beliefs. You are free to disagree with an opinion or stated argument, but that is what you should be attacking, not the person himself or herself. Please try to follow general netiquette when posting.

Please use the Searchfeature of this forum to see if your question has already been asked (and possibly answered) before. If this is the case, please post in the existing thread instead of creating a new one.

If you want to post a message, do so in the forum that is best suited for it. Do not post it to existing threads which are not relevant to your message and post it only once.

Do not create and use more than one member account to appear as more than one person on the forum. Use only one account over a period of time and do not frequently change accounts. If you want a different username please contact an Administrator.

While there is no formal maximum daily limit to how many posts you can make, please try to limit the amount of daily posts to no more than 10 per day on average. This will not be formally moderated, but please respect this average and moderate yourself accordingly.

All posts are now approved by the moderators before they are publicly posted. If approved, your post will be posted within 1 day.

Try to keep all board topics relative. Please consider whether your question/comment would be better emailed directly to the board member than posted as a distinct message specifically addressed to that person. An email link to all members is provided in their profile.

Members of these boards can send private messages to each other. These messages are not email, but one-to-one communications that can only be read by the recipient. You can read private messages in the Private Messages section – either click the "Private Messages" link near the top of every page or click the “Inbox” link at the bottom of the main forum.

You can also elect to be notified by email whenever someone sends you a private message (you can set this by clicking on the Preferences button of the Private Messages Section). You can also prevent anyone from sending you a private message (also configurable in the Preferences section). Only registered members may send private messages.

To send someone a private message, look for the private message icon at the top of a post by that person (the red “PM” icon). You can also send a private message through the person's member profile or by typing their username in your Send To: field in the New PM section.

Links are ok to post under topics as long as they are there to facilitate discussion or present an interesting perspective on a topic. These can include, for example, current events, recent articles, and reviews. Please keep web link posts under topic sections to a bare minimum, and if you do add a link under a topic, tell us why this is interesting to you.

Any type of resource links should be placed in the Web Links section. For example, a general demon link (such as a list of demons, concepts of evil, perspectives on hell, etc) would most likely be more appropriate in the Demonology subcategory of the Web Links section than the Demonology section of the board.

As a general rule, if you aren't sure, post in the Web Links section.
